Research Units within SCALA

The St.Gallen Research Centre for Ageing, Welfare and Labour Market Analysis (SCALA) is structured around the three central research topics - work, ageing, and welfare.

The three central research topics of SCALA are investigated by professors Heike Bruch, Monika Bütler, Michael Lechner, Gebhard Kirchgässner, Winfried Ruigrok, Franz Schultheis, Uwe Sunde, Dieter Thomä as well as junior researchers from the University of St.Gallen.

Additional roles within the SCALA comprise the centre speakers and an advisory board. Every participant contributes to the three central research topics with several projects from his or her specific research perspective and expertise.
