Research Panel Fund
The Research Panel Fund can be used to finance academic conferences and conventions at the HSG.
The following people are entitled to submit an application:
- Professors
- Habilitated lecturers
- Permanent lecturers
- Junior lecturers
The research panels have the following characteristics:
- Speakers from external research bodies and several researchers from the University of St.Gallen take part in the research panel.
- Research panels of a public nature, or where publications are expected as a result, will be given preference.
The Fund can cover the following costs:
- Travelling expenses and accommodation for external participants
- Costs for rooms and rent that have to be paid to the University of St.Gallen
- Costs for meals for the participants in the research panel
- Organisational costs (but no printing costs)
Fees for speakers will not be paid. A maximum of CHF 10,000 can be granted per application.
Submission
Applications should be submitted in writing to the Research Committee’s Office. They must contain the following information:
• Subject and aim of the talks
• Time and place of the event
• Proposed supervisors and participants
• Budget
