Dr. Albert Bühler-Reindl Fund
The purpose of the Bühler-Reindl Fund is to support and promote research of professors, habilitated lecturers and full-time faculty members at the HSG.
Similarly to the Emil Zaugg Fund - the Bühler-Reindl Fund primarily offers printing cost subsidies for publishing books (including commemorative publications) and translation costs for book projects.
You can download the Research Committee’s rulings on the Bühler-Reindl Fund on the right.
The following documents must be submitted with the application:
- Letter to the Research Committee (with brief reasons for the application)
- The book's table of contents
- Abstract of the book (2-4 pages)
- As regards printing cost subsidies: publisher’s calculations/where planned translations are concerned: quote(s)
Submission
The form for the publisher's calculation(s) must be filled out by the publisher and signed. However, back-dated funding is not possible (i.e. no contract with the publisher may have been signed yet). You can download the form for the publisher’s calculation(s) on the right.
Calculations must always be submitted by two different publishers. One single calculation may only be submitted where there are good reasons for selecting a particular publisher.
The applications must be submitted to the Research Committee's Office. A maximum of CHF 10,000 may be granted per application.
Information about funding
As the Research Committee’s funding for printing cost subsidies is limited and the whole of the funding cannot always be covered by this option, we recommend you also find out about the SNSF’s subsidies for publications. The Research Committee welcomes applications to the Bühler-Reindl Fund with which the SNSF aims to provide co-funding.
