VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Outside the campus, members of the University of St.Gallen can access the Internet via VPN on their own computer.

VPN Client
Use the VPN Client, available for Windows (32- and 64 Bit), Mac OS, LINUX and Nokia for external access to web-based databases.

AnyConnect Clients for iPad, iPhone and Samsung Smartphone (Android) can be obtained from the App-Store or on the market.

Outside the University network, Switch PWLAN gives University members free Internet access to all public hotspots belonging to some commercial Internet providers (e.g. Swisscom). To obtain access, you must use the HSG VPN Client.
