HSG promotes women
With a wide range of promotional measures, the HSG supports women in developing their careers.

As a business university, we are interested in continuously increasing our proportion of women. On the labour market and in academia, women with an economics or law degree are highly sought-after. At our university we specifically promote women, from the beginning of studies at the HSG to professorship, or during the transition to the job market.
“Netz + - HSG Women” supports female students and young female scientists in developing their scientific and business careers. Skill training, networking events and coaching for female Bachelor and Ph.D. students are in particularly high demand.
“Universa” is our network of women for women at the University of St.Gallen. Recruiting fairs for female HSG students and exclusive insights into top companies are the highlights of the Universa services.
HSG’s Women back to business programme supports women with university or university-level applied sciences degrees who wish to re-enter the workforce after a family break or who are planning a career change. In addition to a general management executive education course, participants complete resource workshops for career location and planning as well as short internships at partner companies.
