Committee for the Equality of Women and Men
The Committee for the Equality of Women and Men (Committee for Gender Equality) is a University commission stipulated in the University’s statutes.
Excerpt from the University Statutes, Article 109*:
The Committee for the equality of women and men represents the issue of equal chances at the University and takes position on topics of gender equailty. As part of academic matters:
a) consults members of the University in issues of gender equality and promotes concrete actions for reducing gender imbalance;
b) has to be consulted on decisions and decrees in any matter of gender eqaulity and can submit petitions intself.
