Pioneering fields that matter
In our research we strive to attain leadership in topics of great social relevance and to promote entrepreneurial thinking.

At the University of St.Gallen, we are intensively researching topics of great social relevance. These include sustainable innovations as well as responsible entrepreneurship. We make the results of our studies available to the public not only to reinforces students' bonds with our university but also to reinforce our international reputation.
Focus on entrepreneurship
Launched by the HSG Alumni Advisory Committee, the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CEE-HSG) began its work in December 2008. The Center’s flagship is the Entrepreneurship Programme, which enables our students to gain an additional entrepreneurial qualification in parallel to their regular studies. Students not only learn how to work with the technical tools of a business but are also given the opportunity to discuss corporate responsibility and how it should be realised.
Start-up consulting
The Center also offers start-up consulting and support. The aim in this respect is to foster our students’ entrepreneurial attitude and to support entrepreneurial activities started in our environment.
Speakers’ series
The CEE-HSG’s range of services is complemented by the Speakers’ Series. Personalities from the business world, society and politics comment on relevant issues of responsible and holistic entrepreneurship.
