Student Union

The Student Union (SHSG) is the official body representing our students. It is the umbrella organisation for student activities.

The Student Union (SHSG) represents the needs and concerns of our students and plays an active role in shaping the future of the University. It operated solely through voluntary student involvement and, thanks to its 200-strong staff, is able to offer a wide range of products and services.

University development and culture
Projects from the strategic departments tend to have the most visible impact. Examples include the Asian Culture Transfer (ACT) in the area of university development, the assessment of lectures in the area of instruction, the campus in the area of campus activities and the Jazz at the Uni initiative in the area of culture and leisure.

With a staff of 200, efficient management of internal processes is also required. This is handled by the interdisciplinary departments Marketing & HR, Finances and IT & Infrastructure.
