You can find an overview of our ranking results here. Our university’s SIM programme comes 1st worldwide in the current Financial Times ranking of the Master in Management programmes.

At the HSG, we focus on three rankings of international importance and at the same time dovetail with our teaching, further education and research activities: The Financial Times ranking, the CHE ranking and the Handelsblatt ranking.
Financial Times ranking
- Master in Management:
- 1st place among business schools worldwide with the Master's in Strategy and International Management (SIM-HSG)
- 2nd place among business schools worldwide with the CEMS MIM programme
- Master in Finance: 12th place among business schools worldwide
- Executive education: 15th place among business schools in Europe
- MBA: 23rd place among business schools in Europe
- EMBA: 31st place among business schools in Europe
- Top European business schools: 12th place among business schools in Europe.
CHE ranking
- Excellence Ranking Economics Master’s Programmes
- Business administration: top group in European, German-speaking countries
- Economics: top group in European, German-speaking countries
- International relations: top group in European, German-speaking countries
Handelsblatt ranking
- Business research: 2nd place in European, German-speaking countries
- Economics research: 9th place in European, German-speaking countries
Many other rankings are less important to the University of St.Gallen because their methods are problematic, or because they are aimed at special features associated with natural science or medical faculties.
