5/15/2012. The University of St.Gallen (HSG) annually contributes CHF 201 million in value creation within the region of Appenzell Ausserrhode – St.Gallen – Lake Constance.

5/4/2012. 3 out of 100 students received the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award at the 42nd St. Gallen Symposium for their essays on the topic of “Facing Risk”. The prize is worth 20,000 euros.

5/2/2012. Adrian Locher, an alumnus of the University of St.Gallen, has won the 2012 “HSG Founder of the Year” competition with the company DeinDeal.ch that he set up. The prize is worth CHF 10,000.

5/1/2012. On Wednesday, 9 May 2012 from10 a.m. to 6 p.m., HSG students will be running a typing drive for the general public in the Library Building. Healthy people between 18 and 55 will be able to give saliva samples.

4/23/2012. On 26 April at 7.30 p.m. the IWE will be staging a public discussion in the "KinoK" at St.Gallen about justice and violence in Susanne Bier’s film "In a Better World". Dr. Martin Booms will be conducting the debate.

4/20/2012. On the 2012 Business Innovation Day on 20 April, HSG researchers and guests from science and practice conducted an exchange of ideas about networking in science and about open innovation.

4/18/2012. Students will be able to learn about all the options for studying abroad that are open to them on the International Day that will take place in the Foyer of the Library Building on 26 April 2012 from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3/31/2012. On the Masters‘ Graduation Day of 31 March 2012, 322 graduates were presented with the certificates of a Master of Arts (M.A. HSG) at the University of St.Gallen.

3/27/2012. On 24 March 2012, 285 undergraduates were awarded the degree of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. HSG) on the occasion of the Bachelors’ Graduation Day at the University of St.Gallen.

3/26/2012. On 30 March 2012, students will be running the first Eco Fashion Day on the HSG campus. The event will be organised with workshops, an exhibition, prof styling and a fashion show by oikos St.Gallen and the Marketing Club.

3/15/2012. In several parts of the world, water is a scarce resource due to population growth and climate change. 40 students from across Europe will discuss water scarcity with experts during the Challenge the best Conference 2012.

2/27/2012. Leading European business schools in the CEMS Alliance will present their degree courses at the HSG, giving students the opportunity to visit the schools’ booths on Monday, 5 March 2012 in the library building.
