Successful 1st Career Day for Economists: Over 150 students and alumni attended the 1st Career Day for Economists. Keynote speeches and career reports of alumni opened the event - speed dates between alumni and students enabled them to broaden their network. The event was a great success - according to the feedbacks of the participants. Therefore we will hold another Career Day for Economists in 2012. School of Economics and Political Science (SEPS): Starting Feb. 1, 2011, economists and political scientists are united in the new «School of Economics and Political Science». Within the SEPS, there are two departments, the department of economics and the department of political sciences. The SEPS runs 2 bachelor programmes (VWL and BIA), 3 master programmes (MIA, Mecon, MiQEF) and 2 doctoral programmes (PEF and DIA). |

Adapted Admission requirements MEcon: Due to the adaptions in the Major in Economics - English proficiency evidence is now required - the MEcon has changed the admission criteria as well: If English is not your native language, you must provide evidence of sufficient English proficiency before the corresponding deadline in order to be considered for admission to this Master's programme. |
