Gaining experience abroad

The University of St.Gallen has an excellent partner network for exchange stays at another university.

We encurage our students to spend an exchange semester abroad. Over 150 partner universities offer you the opportunity to gain unique experience.
You will not have to pay any additional tuition fees if you take part in one of our many exchange programmes, because you will remain registered as a HSG student here at the University.

The flexible curriculum of the MEcon makes it easier to incorporate a semester abroad into your studies.

Guillaume Cassaigneau: DM2 with HEC Paris, M.Sc. Finance

"Thanks to the new European double degree DM2, I had the opportunity to spend a year at the HEC Paris, where I gained a Master in Finance with focus on Corporate Finance. As a dual citizen of Switzerland and France with a strong economic background (B.A. HSG in Economics) and a variety of professional experiences in banking, auditing and commodity trading, the combination of the MEcon and the Master in Finance from the 'Grande Ecole' was the ideal opportunity for me to consolidate my academic knowledge and broaden my career prospects.
