Spending a semester abroad
The University of St.Gallen has an excellent network of partner universities for exchanges.

We promote stays abroad and recommend that our students complete an exchange term in a foreign country. Over 150 partner universities worldwide provide you with the chance to acquire unique experiences.
No additional tuition fees
There are no additional tuition fees for an exchange in one of our many programmes as you remain enrolled as a HSG student here at the University. The MiQE/F’s flexible curriculum with its generous design leeway makes the inclusion of semesters abroad that much easier for you.
You can obtain additional information from the International Exchange of the University of St.Gallen.
Exchange for MiQE/F students only
Apart from the exchange possibilities within the network of partner universities of the University of St.Gallen, MiQE/F is developing two international partnerships for MiQE/F students only:
QUEEN - Quantitative Economics European Network
The objective of the network is to develop a high standard of education in quantitative economics, to share resources and to offer a common Master's degree in quantitative economics which is complementary to the home degrees of the participating universities. For students participating in MiQE/F there will be the opportunity to spend an exchange term at one of the participating universities.
Cooperation with University of Constance
To extend the choice of courses taught in English the University of St.Gallen and the University of Constance (in Germany – 1 hour, 5 minutes by train) have agreed upon a cooperation on the Master's Level. MiQE/F students thus have the opportunity to choose certain courses from the Master's programme in International Economic Relations at the University of Constance, and vice versa.
While planning your studies you should bear in mind that in order to receive the Master's degree from the University of St.Gallen you have to get a minimum of 60 out of the 90 credits in St.Gallen. This is especially important if you want to do an exchange semester and later courses in Constance.
If you would like to register for courses in Constance, please send an e-mail with the course name(s) and your contact address to the MiQE/F office.
