Kick-off Day

On Kick-off Day, we welcome our new students at Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. level. The next Kick-off Day is on September 13 and 14, 2012.

The Kick-off Day always takes place in the week before the start of the spring and fall semester. It is more that just a “first day of school” for our new students.

Reform of the curriculum
Over the last few years, we have systematically reformed our curriculum. Our Kick-off Day introduces the challenging, interdisciplinary HSG curriculum and therefore also the unique “corporate identity” of our university.

Introductory programme
At this central introductory event for students in higher semesters we introduce the administrative processes at our university.

Academic programme
Every year, the academic Kick-off Day programme revolves around a new current, social and culturally significant subject. Our new students can join forces with experts and HSG professors to develop ideas and visions related to the topic whilst networking with interesting people.
