Who are the candidates for the DOK programme?
The interdisciplinary Ph.D. programme is characterised by its broad spectrum of students. It also appeals to people who would like take an interdisciplinary approach in order to further develop experiences they already possess.

The programme is aimed at Ph.D. students
- with sound knowledge in management theory and who would like to conduct specialised research in complex organisational challenges from the perspective of sophisticated humanities and social science theories.
- who possess a sound basic education in an humanities or social science discipline and who would like to further develop their interdisciplinary qualifications at the interface between business and society.
- who have a sound basic education in economics, law or political science and who would like to extend their qualifications through the interdisciplinary integration of humanities and social science aspects.
Although the DOK programme is still in its infancy, more than 80 students have registered already.
Experience has shown that in addition to Ph.D. students who begin the Ph.D. after completing their Master’s degree, the programme appeals particularly to students who have already gained work experience in various fields (research, private business, administration and education) and who now want to deepen, explore and further develop their knowledge.
Students from all age groups are thus welcome to the Organization and Culture Ph.D. programme.
