The Ph.D. Programme in Management (PMA) is our largest Ph.D. programme. You can choose from one of six specialisations.

The Ph.D. Programme in Management offers either preparation for a research-based professional career (standard track) or for an academic career (academic track).

In the standard track, our students complete five courses in the coursework phase. After submitting the research proposal, students then complete two seminars in the research phase. Nine courses and two seminars must be completed for the academic track. Thanks to the broad orientation of the Department of Management, the following six specialisations are offered:

Business Innovation
Finance
International Business
Strategy & Management
Marketing

Accounting, Finance, International Business, and Strategy & Management are specialisations offered in English; Business Innovation and Marketing are offered in German.
