Prof. Dr. Dr. Kley is full professor and chair in political science (international relations).

Professor Kley teaches courses in the Bachelor's Programme in International Affairs (BIA) and the Master's programme in International Affairs and Governance (MIA). His main research interests are in political theory and the history of political ideas as well as the 20th century history of the social sciences and humanities. Professor Kley has been serving the University of St.Gallen in numerous administrative capacities. Currently, he is Deputy Dean of the Law School.
