Profile area

The profile areas combine specialist and interdisciplinary subject areas and carry out comprehensive, in-depth research in a specific area.

The profile areas are considered to be future-oriented research fields in which the University of St.Gallen (HSG) will assume and maintain an international leading role in the medium term. 

Our profile areas combine different research areas on the one hand, and on the other they provide a comprehensive view of subject areas from a legal perspective without neglecting economic, political and social dimensions.

We are developing three profile areas. The first focal area so far is in the field of "Business Enterprise – Law, Innovation and Risk".
