Inter-library loan for libraries

Libraries that want to order documents for their users from us will find the requisite information on this page.

We send documents to Swiss and foreign libraries under the following conditions:

• Please note our lending conditions (minimum lending period 14 days). This also applies when we send items abroad. 
• If you already have a library account with us, we request you order documents directly from the catalogue.
• We request libraries that have no library account with us to send orders by e-mail to the Library. You order will usually be processed within one working day. 
• Costs: within Switzerland standard postal costs apply. You will be issued an invoice (monthly). Foreign libraries can also pay with an IFLA voucher (after discussing the matter with the Library).

When ordering by e-mail, please include the following details: 

• title/call number of the item, for magazines: title/year/issue/article details 
• Requested delivery: by post or e-mail (PDF file, only possible for magazine articles) 
• Requested delivery address
